Introducing our Charities of the Year 2022

We are delighted to announce that our staff have chosen The Tiny Lives Trust and The Brittle Bone Society as our Charities of the Year to support during 2022.

Staff will be carrying our various fundraising activities throughout the year, including charity walks, coffee mornings, golf day, running the Great North Run and collecting donations in all of our ten branches.

James Burrell is very passionate about contributing to the local community, we believe that it’s right to give back to local people.

You can find a little bit of information on each of our charities below.

The Tiny Lives Trust

The Tiny Lives Trust is a charitable trust that helps to care for 800+ premature and sick newborn babies, their mothers and families each year. It supports the Newcastle Neonatal Service at Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary that cares for babies from across the North East and Cumbria. The fund aims to provide the highest quality of care on an ongoing basis to support a range of facilities, staff, and equipment.

The Brittle Bone Society provides support for people affected by the rare, and painful bone condition Osteogenesis Imperfecta. It provides specialist advice, support and equipment to people with the condition, their families and carers, medical and other professionals. Their charity mission seeks a world in which the needs of people living with OI are better understood, respected and fully met.
