National Apprenticeship Week

National Apprenticeship Week 2022. The 15th annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships will take place between 7th-13th February 2022. This week shines a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

Construction is not often seen as a career of choice for young people; however, the construction industry offers tons of opportunities for workers and is a growing industry with a vibrant workforce.

Here at James Burrell, we have always held the value of an apprentice extremely highly. We continue to invest in our apprenticeship programmes year on year, enabling us to continue to look towards the future of our workforce. Almost a quarter of our workforce either are or have been apprentices or trainees with James Burrell - that includes 2 Senior Managers who joined us as apprentices when they left school.
